    Re: Schutzhund in Australia

    Howdy all,

Would just like to say that I am a little disappointed that after making a detailed post, pointing out that we all need to come together to fight the powers that be (and their draconian over-regulation), nobody has bothered to add anything to the debate.
I dont think that this is a discussion that should be walked away from, especially when the discussion is now at the point where people are being called to account for doing what they can to play a role in forming a cohesive and united front for all dog owners, especially those with sporting type dogs.
I was hoping to create discussion with my last post, but it only appears to have prompted discussion on the most minor points contained within it, and the overall message and valid points I made seem to have not been considered.
If taking that post down is what it takes to reinvigorate the discussion, then I will do so.
Please, lets keep discussing how to get us all fighting in the most logical, ethical, intelligent and united way possible!

    Regards,

    BG

    Thumbs down

Well so far my request has fallen on deaf ears, or has had no replies.

It would appear that when the 2 prevailing Sch bodies in this country have no representatives willing to address the fair and even handed issues raised in my previous posts that they are FAR LESS THAN SERIOUS about dogs and FAR MORE SERIOUS about protecting their own political agendas and sport.

What a sad endictment given the previously fervent defence of Sch offered in other posts.

It would seem that if proposed Dangerous Dog Ammendments take place here in Victoria the 2 organisations in positions of power representing 'sport' in our country have failed to live up to doing all that they can, forgoing ego driven and short sighted attempts, to ensure that the dogs that make up the backbone of their most pivotal programs are safe.

    Shame, shame, shame!
