New litter of German shepherds, proud grandma, lol

Hi everyone,I am blessed to have 4 bouncing pups.

Regal Haus Crystal to Alpinebase Ned

He is a big black semi long coat with excellent hips and elbows like Crystal.
She has made a great mum, though being almost 5 and her first, she has done well.

The pups are 3 weeks old,3 boys 1 girl, all black and you can watch their development on fb

    Hi Robert,

Hoping you're well and your dogs are good.

The pups are doing really good, I have 4, a long story, my vets should be shot, lol
1 girl, 3 boys and at 4 weeks old they are amazing. Some have great grips already and getting stronger.
You can watch them grow on fb and see them develop over the weeks.
Am very happy with them. Am keeping one myself..

I am very happy, but the idiots are starting, to contact me and I am very selective.
One is going to a kennel for breeding, woohoo.
some don't like Karl's dogs but they don't like your dog my dog or any other but their own.,lol

The male is imported in the dam, and I know 3 of his sisters are in security, with an ex military trainer and 1 is in a kennel for breeding, and he said she is a very stable dog. But the pups are coming along nicely.
    regards Ena

Next one even better, Nordemmstan Gunnar, sch 3 and can't wait. Would of had him this time but the owner went over seas .

    Hi Ena and Congratulations!

I have a Baron x Isy bitch (in whelp to a Raennik dog) and I have a Gunnar X Alpinebase bitch [Baron X Kirsty V Klostersee]. Let me tell you the Gunnar bitch has more herbs than I can sometimes handle. She is sweet and I love her dearly but she has no 'off' button and bores herself to distraction sometimes. Definitely a working dog through and through! Great tracker and fantastic obedience dog but after that, in the kennel for some peace!! My straight Alpinebase girl is much steadier. I believe that two of Kira's brothers are going through training with Vic Pol.

Did you see Ned? Was he a big dog??

    Hi Jolanda,

Out of interest, why did you breed a steady working bitch who lacks herbs?

    Cheers

My 'steady working' bitch doesn't lack herbs as such, she just has an 'off' button and is easier to live with. She is also less frenetic and very different to the Gunnar girl. (but no less a working girl)

It's interesting you quote that she is no less a "working girl" than your more frenetic girl Jolanda, how did you determine this may I ask?

Often easier to live with, less frenetics and off switches equates to a lack of working drive, not always but often?. The reason I ask is the ease that people can breed working GSD's that don't comply with the workimg standards required of the breed, in essence anyone can breed anything on main register and just had an interest in what you believe your quieter girl can contribute to maintain and improve the breed for the purpose of conducting the breeding?

    Cheers

    Hi Ena,
glad to hear the pups are doing well, good on you.
You can't help the idiots ringing, I have just had the same with 2 litters on the ground.
I had one tosser bring an 8 week old puppy, back after only having it for 36 hours, said it was to aggressive.
All because he was home with it all day, on the first day, and his wife came home and it barked and growled at her.
Can any one believe this this bullshit.
Said he had rotties all of his child hood till he left home.
