future GSD litter

Thought I'd let you know I will be breeding Regal Haus Crystal, aka Cherokee.
I have a top male picked out for her, he is a serious security dog in Vic, I'll let you know later down the track. Well I expect her to come on within the next month. She comes form the old victorian lines and will be breed to a male from the old lines too.
I can't wait, plan on keeping a pup or two myself. She is black and am expecting to get more with this breeding, he is bi-colour.
oh puppies, can't wait.

Hi everyone, just to let you know Cherri wasn't going to have any part of our breeding choice, guess who sat with her legs crossed, lol
Next time the plan is AI to save her the stress, maybe by then she will want to do it.
So am sad that there is no puppies but am happy with my choice and to take it slow. Will let you all know when the time comes. Gives me time to do my puppy yard.

Thanks Amy,

She is 2 yrs 1 month, am told these bloodline take until 2.5 yrs to grow up. Though I think she will be an AI girl, she has never liked any dog putting their limbs on her or pinning her down. Going to miss the puppies but I'd rather have my dog and have her happy and with AI we have a choice of how to do it another way, at another time.

As a matter of interest, how many seasons has she had & how many days into her season was she when she was 'introduced' to the stud dog?

Hi

I tried her one day, I did bloods and could have put the people out that had the dog in there care at the time...
I do know how my dog thinks and the place wasn't right for me so it wasn't ok for her, and being a maiden I'd like it to be an easy choice....
Even when around males she knows, she wont let them mount her in or out of season, this being the third we have been through. This is why I will take my time and do it when the time is right.
There is no hurry for puppies and I know next time what to do until she changes her mind, this might be to get her a male of her own, so to speak.
