club or trainer needed please help

    Hi all

Id love to get involved in a dog sport or competition ob and there is just bugger all i can find in my area.

Im seriously looking for a training group even like minded people to train with in newcastle if anyone knows anybody could you please let me know.

I hate seeing my good little bitch go to waste. And the local ob clubs are a joke i loathe them. And i have been told going to sydney once a week or once a fortnight would take for ever to title a dog ????Not to mention the two hour trip one way.

    Thanks
    Brad

    Hi Brad

There should be some people here that can point you in the right direction.

I live in QLD. so I don't know any one in your area.

    Hi Adam

Thats what i thought there has to be other people around my area doing something.

Apparently my area did have a schutzhund club many years ago but it closed due to low interest and trainers moving out of state.

    Thanks
    Brad

The the Power Paws team. They are on the central coast. One of the trainers name is Steve Davies. Im pretty sure they have a website.
They are a training in drive club training for obedience competitions. Most dogs there are border collies but there is a GSD, mali, some gundogs and herding dogs.

monika do you have an email address as im having trouble contacting them(they use outlook on there website its not working)After looking at it its so much closer to what i want.I really want to do schutzhund but at least they are training in drive which is great to see.I also read where he is trying to change the policy and training in nsw to promote or make clubs train in drive like they do in the U.K i hope this happens cause it will sure weed out the people with the shitters who drag there dogs around the course .
