I would recommend muzzles from dogquip.com . Australian made and very good quality. I have e-mail Kurt and asked him to provide some photos. As soon as I get them I will post them here for you.
With the dollar how it is I figured it's time to get some additional gear. A muzzle, maybe some more bite work stuff and some more educational DVDs.
However, I've hit a snag with the muzzle. I am interested in these two:

Has anyone used either of these? I like black and it'd help create a more intimidating look with my boy (which I want) but the basket seems to have greater ventilation. The dog addict in me is telling me to get both. Alternative suggestions would also be appreciated.

Ohhh, wasn't aware he carried Muzzles!
If he has them then I'll definitely go through him. I'd much rather support the local supplier![]()
I won't bother pestering him for photos if you're grabbing some![]()
I would go for the basket muzzle,
I have found Kurt quite difficult to deal with ,if he does not know you ,
He does all sorts of back ground checks on you and wants ABN numbers and all sorts of things , before he sends you anything. He just wants to much unnessecary information, can be quite off putting.
Several others have had the same problem .
I mean if I am prepared to pay for something why does he need such details.
He has lost a lot of business with me I eventually bought a Ray Allen bite suit, and had it sent over.
But I must admit I have alot of Kurts gear , and it is good quality.I have had to get it through others that know him well . When I have been in a hurry for something.

Rob
Sorry you have had problems dealing with Kurt.. not sure why... I personally have never had any problems, nor has anyone I know.
I find him very approachable.
In regards to purchasing bite gear equipment, I feel he needs to be sure he is not just dealing with backyarders... And probably will ask for some personal info from you. I see no problem with that.
I understand where Rob is coming from,i am very reluctant to give out personal information.
Hmmmm.. each to their own I guessI have no problems letting Kurt know who I am and why I want gear..nothing to hide...
Kurt supplies Australian Military, State Police, international police forces, and dog clubs with gear.. he has been operating for well over 25 years. Has a good reputation. I can assure anyone that purchases equipment from him will get the best service and follow-up support of any dog equipment supplier I know of, locally and internationally.
Yeah i understand what you're saying as well,I would be happy enough to deal with someone that has been dealing for such a long time
Look I am licensed, I have nothing to hide either, but just the same it is not illegal to own or possess these items,
I did not see the need to give him virtually the title to my home , when I was paying cash .
Look people that like him , like , the ones that don't , just don't.

Rob
I might add , I did give him all my details, because he had to mail it to me , as I am in Melbourne, so any more than my phone number and address and payment details , he did not require.
It actually developed into an argument.

Rob
