    http://www.fordogtrainers.com/index....WPROD&ProdID=9

Has anyone used either of these? I like black and it'd help create a more intimidating look with my boy (which I want) but the basket seems to have greater ventilation. The dog addict in me is telling me to get both. Alternative suggestions would also be appreciated.
Wasn't the above the original question? A simple list of alternative suppliers should have simply been posted. After reading this post, Its discraceful for the Australian working dog industry. Nobodys business or personal attributes deserves to be discredited on this forum for the world to see for such minor reasons.

    Hi
Must apologise if it seems that Kurt has been bagged....
I just couldnt understand the need for a licence to buy a whip...
The dangerous dog act does not state that you are not allowed to buy training equipment does it?
I still say that Dogquips euipment has been great and Kurt has been courteous and helpful...

Kurt supplies Australian Military, State Police, international police forces, and dog clubs with gear.. he has been operating for well over 25 years. Has a good reputation. I can assure anyone that purchases equipment from him will get the best service and follow-up support of any dog equipment supplier I know of, locally and internationally.
I agree 100% with you Mark, I have some dogquip gear which is over 10 years old and I still use it on a regular basis. I have found Kurt's service to be beyond reproach he has always been extremely helpful with equipment to myself and my colleagues over the years.

    Well golly gosh ,
What ever happened to freedom of speech ,
The same way each of you have had wonderful experiences with Kurt , and have the freedom of speech to say so , why is it not allowed for those of us whom have not had such good experiences , when dealing with him , to not have that same freedom of speech to express the same .
    Get over it .
I also stated the equipment I have got from him was excellent , this is supposed to be a forum for all to put forth their opinions , not be sheep and say yes sir no sir.
If that is the case i ask to be banned now .

    regards

    Rob

As far as the original post....Midol was asking about a muzzle colour/style from FDT and as is always the case on this site, was advised to buy from Kurt instead.

Rob raised a very relevant point regarding issues with Dogquip which I agree with. Nobody has attempted to discredit Kurt or his business just pointed out that he can be difficult to deal with in some instances.

"disgraceful for the working dog industry" get past it, his products and service may be great but Kurt is just a guy who sells some dog gear, I hardly think it is bagging him to discuss his sales process. Some of you like to purchase from him whilst others don't, it is in a prospective buyers best interests to hear customer opinions both positive and negative.
