My name is Marjan Ferkula and I am involved in Schutzhund Dogsport. I am from Sydney and am a member of the Waratah Sportdog Club. Rottweilers are my breed of choice then all the other guarding breeds that are eligible for Schutzhund Sport. I have owned dogs for over 30 years now and only once I discovered Schutzhund did I gain knowledge of dog behaviour and training in motivational methods. since then I have thrown away the old choke collar which was the standard method of training in the old days using compultion and force.
