    Introducing ourselves

    Hi All,

Just a quick intro to give you some background about your newest members! My name is Melissa and my partner is Paul - we own Intercept Detection Canines. We breed and supply working bloodline labs and beagles to goverment departments for detection work. We also breed working bloodline dobermanns - our dobermann website is http://www.vonroth.com.au

Paul has been involved in the working dog community for over 20 years, specialising in protection work in the police and security sector. He knows the working shepherd and dobermann bloodlines back to front and has been involved in breeding working bloodline shepherds and dobermanns for over 15 years.

I am a senior detector dog handler with the Australian Government, have been working detection dogs, both passive and active, for 6 and a half years and have been involved in training dogs for around 14 years.

We are looking forward to joining in on some of the forums!

    regards,

    Melissa and Paul

    Hi Melissa & Paul

    Welcome aboard.

We all look forward to your involvement with the forums. Also please do pass the word around, as we are hoping to build this forum up to be a fun, and educative place for all those interested in the working canine.

Also take a look at the classifieds if you haven't already. Feel free to advertise your canines and services there also if you wish.

Looking forward to interacting with you both here.

    Cheers

    Re: Introducing ourselves

    Hi Melissa and Paul,
Great to see you here. I had the pleasure of staying at your place and enjoying your hospitality, when over for a seminar with George.
Both the Labs and the Dobermanns were a treat.

Frank has stated that Paul is probably one of the most knowledgeable men around
as far as bloodlines go. He also speaks very highly of his agitation skills.

The knowledge that the two of you have can only help to improve the quality of working dogs and handler skills.
Well enough sucking up! Thanks for the hospitality that you showed me on my stay and a big welcome to the site.

    Cheers
    Jeff
