We've had ticks out for months now.

Permoxin is being applied every week.

I'm glad we dont get ticks down in this part of the world!! They must be really annoying and a pain in the bum to have around.

    Re: Tick Season

I have lived in areas with paralyzing ticks and the vets, it was hit and miss.

Here was the way I handled it. From the old days from farmers I have talked to, used kero, yes kero. They wet a rag, wring it out and wipe it over the dogs, help repel fleas to. Don't put it on watery because it will burn the skin.

I found this to be less toxic than most if not all store bought stuff.

Then there is garlic put in pure honey. I have a big jar and I put pealed clovers of the best garlic I can find, then cover it in pure honey. You let it sit, the longer the better. I and friends have saved many animals from dying because of ticks and almost anything else. It can be put down the throat, on a wound and even in their diet.

Garlic is a natural antibiotic and our bodies can absorb some but not all of its goodness. Though honey on the other hand, can absorb everything the garlic has. And we can absorb all the honey has to offer. Though be warned,, HONEY IS A HEALER AND CAN HEAL BEFORE THE INFECTION IS GONE ON WOUNDS...

    With treatment for ticks

1 tablespoon of G-Honey 3 times a day, no food but a small amounts of water.
Depending on how bad the animal is, could take 2 weeks but they are better at dealing with bites after that. I even know dogs that the ticks don't even bother now because they have had them a couple of times. I have seen them brought back from near death with garlic, this I could never say for the vet.

    Any questions, please ask

    regards Ena

PS: I use it for all animals and people, great for flus. I beleive every house should have one

We don't have ticks here either, well never say never I suppose.Great to read other folks are using Natural remedies such as the Garlic, honey etc We also use this for animal and human related medical issues.Garlic can also kill worms but that depends wholly on the severity of the worms.

Hi to all, here is something that should make you laugh.

I joined a chook forum, I also breed chooks. I put in about garlic and honey, I got barred. Told them how I've used it on dogs and sent them over the top. Told me I will kill peoples dogs and barred me,LMAO Oh but didn't drop the post, go figure.

To start with it is a chook forum, lol, barred because of dog talk.

I thought the dog world needed a little direction, lol
Chook people have it worse...I was only looking into some new breeds and thought I'd share something I have used for over 20 yrs and never had a problem. Though to bar someone because of that. They first said I might be selling something and told them how to make it themselves, was going to bar me, but once people started having their say for and against, they stopped me being able to repling, lol

Does anyone here think it will kill there dogs.

A vet(she says she it on the forum) said garlic is from the onion family and will kill your dog. I said we the ape family but I don't live in a tree. Same thing.
