    Furminator De-shedding Tool

Purchased a Furminator De-shedding Tool. Used it on my boy today.....I must say I am very impressed with it.

I was one for using a hacksaw blade, however I am totally converted to this tool. I have never pulled out so much loose coat so fast in my life!

If you haven't tried one... I'd recommend you do!

The Furminator is great isn't it?

I find I still need to use a comb though and the furminator is useless on the sibe.

The Mars Coat King works well on Montu (GSD) as well.

Yep - have been grooming for over 7 yrs and the Furminator is fantastic. As said above the mars coat king is better for some other coat types. Also the Kong Zoom Groom while in the bath is hard to beat - the amount of dead hair that pulls out is unbelievable.

Piper is a pussy when it comes to grooming she hates the slicker but will stand all day if I use the furminator on her. She is blowing coat something shocking now and I need to get in to her again. Pink is hardly dropping any coat atm.

The generic brands are just as good at a fraction of the cost of the furminators.

Cheaper still is to purchase them on EBAY - don't know how they do them at that price.

I have to agree about the furminator. After using one I was sold on it........I have been using slickers for years to help strip the coat when they drop it. The furminator makes this easy as well as removing the dead hair on a regular basis.

Furminators RULE! Best thing invented since toilet paper! Love them! Only problem is they are pretty proud of them! Price is steep.
