    Smile Peco vom Schloss Richtof

Who has any experience with this dog or his offspring??

I know his son Cain did well in the start of his competition career not sure if it continued

A guy i know had used his brother Cato for breeding and he knew the importer/owner of the dog(Peco) who rated him highly amongst others he brought in.

Alex Bayer said good things about him,and he was from Sid vom Haus Gremm who was known as a sire of hard dogs.Im not sure why a dog that was at the BSP 2x and WUSV was not bred more he didnt set the world on fire at at the bundersieger with placings just inside the top 100 yet dogs like Fax who basically did the same things but placing higher was bred much more.

His pedigree has no line breeding no mink no fero maybe he was unknown quantity?

Peco vom Schloss-Richthof - German Shepherd Dog

Basically im just curious and bored thought i would put it out there.

I'd also like to know this! I have a Cain pup, who so far is showing great potential but is still only young.
    Cheers, Jess

I like the pedigree on your pup Jess, it's a nice outcross and I am interested how your pup comes along in maturity.

So are we! She's coming along well with her bite work, but only done basic imprinting. Will start a bit more serious stuff this year.
She is looking stunning (but thats probably because she is mine, I'm a bit bias )

By all reports Cain was a decent dog and his brother is apparently a pretty dominant hard dog too.I think that litter had the odds on there side being from Ida who produced nice dogs.Im pretty sure a guy i know up here had Ida at his kennels and he liked her alot.

She is a stunning looking girl Jess, that's what I have noticed with black dogs, it's hard to capture facial expression in photographs, you tend to get the outline of the head, two eyes and a tongue where the coloured dogs seem to photograph so much nicer in that regard.

I like the fact in your bloodline Jess, they didn't put another Fax line stud over the dam to create one of those abortion line breedings that crop up regularly. I love Fax lines, but he needs a good outcross IMHO and I think yours is a good one to see how she turns out to see what some hybrid vigour brings to the table?.
