Yes, it seems there's a lot of people with your experience unfortunately Jolanda. May I ask how you originally got onto the kennel when you got your dog?
I know this thread is a little old but I have only just caught up with some of the reading.
I had a Von Kaiserhof dog - he was dead at 14 months from Haemophilia. That is only the start!
I really have nothing more to say about that kennel.

Years ago (around 1991) I was wanting a GSD that wasn't a showline. I wanted a solid boned black dog and if it had a long coat, so much the better LOL. Tosha was by Von Kaiserhof Earl which I suspect was true because my dog had his expression and style of head. I am pretty sure I saw the kennel advertised in an Australian Dog Magazine. When my dog died, I did get another pup but his paperwork was incorrect which caused some issues. Having said all that, this dog was one of the best dogs I have ever owned and remains my heart dog to this day. He lived to be 14 and he was healthy until about a 18 months before he died. I think it's a shame that this kennel didn't do the right thing because over time, I did see some very nice dogs.
Cheers
Jolanda
So your other pup was also a Von K pup? Do you know which lines he was from? There are still lines bred today which Earl features in. Do you remember who the bitch was for your first pup Jolanda?
