The ANKC I believe follow in the footsteps of the AKC as always we are America's bitch.And yes they do it so they dont have to fall into line with the FCI.But here is the main issue the GSDCA as a full member of the WUSV must follow all FCI regulations one of which is to put a working title on all GSD'S before they can gain a SHOW title and MUST have both show and working titles before they can breed.The GSDCA is the largest breed club in Aus and I believe hold the ANKC to ransom they lie to the WUSV and say SCH is illegal so that they can continue to have FCI Judges come to Aus for their specialties and gain show titles.So when the WUSV and FCI realised that FCI judges were here for SCH trials questions were asked so the GSDCA put more pressure on the ANKC and DPI to try and kill the sport and hide their lies.
The members of the GSDCA actually voted pro SCH but the powers that be refused the vote and still went against the wishes of their own members.Hey its easier to lie then put the work into the breed they supposedly love.
Anyway these are just the rantings of one man.
I am almost at the point where I believe Chris is correct lets all burn our papers and send the ashes to ANKC. Lets face it having a pretty dog is far more important than having one that can actually fullfill the purpose it was bred for in the first place.
