GSD there is a 3rd dimension with this breed a training factor. Regardless what breed a dog may be, some offenders will judge an individual dog, if it appears to be non aggressive, calm or even friendly they do often get past dogs like this, what I am saying is the wariness factor on a calm
GSD remains high because of the training reputation, seriously what professional operation trains Bulldogs in comparison to
GSD's, the liklihood of someone having a tactical trained Bulldog in the backyard is virtually zero, what you see is what you get, with a
GSD, it may be trained, could even be a police dog in a K9 officer's yard, the crims know this. Not everyone wants a dog in a familiy environment with huge territorial aggression that blacks out at the sight of people, they want a pet who also provides a deterrent value in protection of their property, my opinion is a crap
GSD has more deterrent value than a crap Bulldog and in relation to this thread, I have shared my reasons for believing that.
