Thread: Vale Oenone Hibberd

I was shocked and saddened to have just read Oenone Hibberd passed away last month she was only 55 and was a member here and long term member of the Eagle Heights club in Victoria. Nonie was the first and only Australian to trial at a WUSV world title in 2007 with the legendary GSD Nordenstamm Chiller she trained herself finishing 82nd out of 215 entrants. She won multiple Australian sporting trials and is the only handler to date to score 100 Schutzhund tracking points in Australia under a German Judge, an exceptional lady, trainer/handler and a tribute to the sport of Schutzhund.

Chiller passed away in 2008 from a sudden illness, trusting he was there to reunite with Nonie at the Bridge RIP.
