    Floods

    Hey Just wondering if anyone is affected by the floods on this site

    vendo i know your up in QLD are you affected at all is it hyped up or really as bad as the media potrays it ??

    Not hyped up enough Andrew. Our dams were at 100% just a few weeks ago. 2 years ago we were at 20%. in just 3 days they reached 200% and now they have to release water on top of what we have got.

    Toowoomba is on a montain basically it is the top. To get that type of torrent is unimaginable. Lot of kids lost their lives as they did not understand what was happening. I am now in Ipswich where I am cut off from home. I am securing the flood evacuation centers with my guards. My center is looking after a mental health center that was evacuated. Most shocking story for me was about the 4 year old boy who fell out of the rescue boat and drowned, my son is 4 so I feel for that family in particular.

    I'm in Ipswich City about half a km from the floodwaters but High and Dry. It is unbelievable that any of this has happened. Many peoples lives have been devastated in this region as well as the rest of Qld. My heart and thoughts go out to all who have been affected and if there is anything I can do to help anyone please let me know.

    Oh, this is just so sad and horrifying. Those poor people and the lives lost, what a waste of precious life. My heart breaks for those affected..
