    One more advice on mastitis.

One very reputable breeder gave me some advice some time ago.
She puts her bitches on one table spoon of Ag lime per day in their diet while they are nursing and if they develop mastitis she increases this to three table spoons three times per day and it clears itself up in two to three days.

No antibiotics needed and no vet bills.

Interesting Adam, never heard that before thanks. I know Clavulox is usually prescribed in moderate to severe cases and it deals with the high temperature, and the other nasties that go with mastitis. Some people bandage the teats to bring them up to but i never have.....Mastitis is sure a bitch lol i myself have had the condition with all my human pregnancies.
