Sorry I can really ad anything as I was going to say Vo Forell as I remember having a conversation with him about 10 years ago where he said he had rounded up a lot of old blood from around Melbourne and beyond.Why dont you look to Europe for something or will it cost more than you have mentiuoned?

I have thought of going overseas. Though I have been put onto a great male that is from the old lines. In the future I will look to import but at the moment I'll go with what I am planning. I'll put it on the puppies on site when they are due. So far have spoken to 2 people and 2 are gone, and 3 are staying here.

now i could be wrong dont quote me directly on this but from what i do know security line was Nevil Wiliams stock and a guy by the name of Criss I dont remember his surname had bought some those lines from Nevil and he tried to breed them with von forell.

They had some partnership going. this is back in 1998.

i did visited both of them around that time and seen the dogs and pedigrees.

I belive that they had trained and housed their dogs at some premises At Springvale, Melbourne. this is going from memory and i hope that it might help you.

Yes you are correct i made a mistake the guy was Steve

i personally would NOT pay Them $10 000 dollars for any unit no mater what even if it was gold plated.
from memory they had some potency issues with some of the security lines and there was a question of pedigree (it was hand written and not registered). Apparently Nevil Williams did not register some of his dogs and apparently he was baned from the Vic CCC.

A standard breeding fee for an AWESOME dog is $1500 and a breeding unit is only worth that. I would also insist on puppy guarantee (meaning that if the sperm was not very potent i would expect two or three units for the one fee of $1500 in order to get the desired result) Alternatively i would ask for a sperm count to accompany the unit meaning a scientific count of the live sperm cells and the viability report.

Once again for $10 000 dollars you could import an Awesome dog And stand him at stud and recover some of your costs and breed him for few years.

Oh Chris isn't the only one around at that time that know about the breeding. I have found out a lot and I still like the dogs for security and protection.
