I think it may be a typo? have you confirmed with the owner of the semen that this is the correct price?

I dont know about you bu it is for me with no guarantee.I would rather import a pup from a known line and take my chances there for the same price tag.
spending 10k is alot of cash im sure you will find something similar and cheaper as there is no guarantee with any AI.
Hi ,
they are excellent sperm counts
indeed that report on the sperm quality is excellent. i have seen some reports which dont even come close..
I think it's excessive and I find it hard to believe that anyone selling it for such a high price tag really cares about improving working line dogs, rather they care about making money.
On the other hand, such a huge price tag will reduce the popular sire effect.

might be excessive for some, but not for all. the semen in question was used and there are pups on the ground.
i myself have a male who has some of these genetics in him and selling semen from him and of course i wont be giving it away for nothing....
Firstly the value of the semen is/was $10,000 due to the dog not being around anymore and thus makes it limited. Now with any limited stock that are of value the price tends to be high. The comment by Ena stating that the semen doesn't sound good is totaly incorrect and if the research was done she would have known that it is excellent as some people have stated. I offered one vial, which would have been enough for at least 2 breedings with that semen quality. The semen was used by me successfully recently and look forward to linebreeding some Security Lex daughters to Regalhaus Quell. Vials and straws vary significantly. I hope this clears it up.
