    Dobermann drives and behaviour

    Gday,

from reading members posts it seems that some of you have had alot of experience with dobermanns. Many say the drives in Malis are prey, prey, prey. What are the drives in working dobes that make them good or bad for work/sport?

Those that have moved away from dobes, what made you change?

What are good lines to look for in a pedigree?

    TIA

    Jonathon

I have had doberman's for about seven years.

So i can only comment on my experiences.

Original i liked the cropped ears and docked tails, in dobes.
When they banned that i didn't like the look any more.

further more they seem to be to immature compared to the other breeds.
and with the ears down and long tails they loos to placid.

Then come the ability and finding a good one. The chances of finding a good dobe are so minimal that you be better of with any other breed.

that is just my personal opinion don't mean to upset the Doberman lovers but that is how I see it.

If I was looking for a doberman I would buy a rottie.
