Growth Stimulation Diets for working dogs from 1 year

Would like to hear opinions on diets to increase appetite and growth of working dogs from 12 months of age following hip and elbow xrays.

    Hi Jamie

I've always been of the opinion that if you feed the right diet of premium dog food it provides all the necessary requirements for good growth in a young dog....supplements are all well and good if you feed a BARF diet, but unnecessary with good dry food, and supplements have to be dispensed carefully otherwise they can do more harm than good.

    Cheers

We feed the same food throughout the dogs whole life.(DRY/RAW)I do swim and give fish oil before the xrays are done by around 2-3 months.Muscle conditioning is essential.

I would increase feeding according to exercise requirements and or whelping.

    I don't supplement.

I wouldn't want to promote rapid growth.
