Whilst having a look for mention of tail docking in the other thread I happened to read some of the act.
In 2002 a position paper was put out for comment.I made several submissions at the time. Some of the things they were outlining to me anyway were nothing short of unconstitutional. The year came and went then there was a change of government so it never happened and now it seems in the last couple of years they have slipped them in anyway.

Here is a link to the act.Take a look at 33g Seizure and Destruction.
It has been amended to add Authorised person or police officer. Before it was authorised person as in Ranger and the ranger is and has always been allowed to enter your property but not your dwelling. Now it states if they have reason to believe an attack has occurred by a dangerous dog which also means restricted breed dog they can enter onto or into your premises which means your house. So now a police officer without a warrant can enter your home under the premise of looking for a restricted breed dog/dangerous dog that they have reason to beleive caused an attack. What does reason to believe mean.We got a phone call?
Welcome to the free world boys.

They have also added in part 53 Certain Breeds.
It doesnt say restricted breeds anymore but states the Minister which will be of the DLG in hius opinion beleives a certain breed or cross breed is a potential danger the Governor on recommnedation by the minister may make regulataions for the purpose of this section.
Talking about f****** open ended and this is exactly how the bastards back doored us.The then minister of the DLG John Bowler applied to the Governor Genral to ammned the act in the interest of the community in regard to restricting certain breeds. No vote no nothing. Also states dogs found in contravention will be destroyed.Maybe they dont read the local papers classifieds LMFAO.

At the border I thought it read "Welcome to WA the Wildflower State"
I think they need to change it to "Welcome to WA the Police State"
