    Reputable Trainers

I will start it off. The following people are people I have had experiences with and would be happy to reccomend. I will only mention those who train commercialy.

Qld: Craig A Murray (Dog School). Brett Ward (Von Everest). Jamie Davies (Jasada k9).

NSW: Obviously I would like to reccomend myself. Craig B Murray (Premier Dog Training) but I will also mention : Steve Courtney (K9 pro) and Nathen Mc Credie (dog gone mad).

    Hi Craig,

It depends what you are training for as to the credibility of the trainer and what the trainer has achieved in a particular field. A trainer who excells in drug detection may not be the right trainer for protection or a good agility trainer may not be the right trainer for reshaping the reactive behaviour of an over sharp GSD.

What I will recommend is to avoid any commercial trainers who are anti prong, Ecollar and aversive training. These tree hugging purely positive's in the dog training industry in my opinion are the scum of the earth ruining more dogs and their handlers than I care to think about.

    Cheers
    Nev

    Craig,
do you recommend the trainers in that order?
    Craig 1st, Brett 2nd, and Jamie 3rd.
    And the same in N.S.W

Intersting thread and one which given my limited experience out of state I have a hard time commenting on. What I will say is anybody reading should evaluate a trainer thouroughly before commiting...there are far too many NDTF newbies claiming great experience and even more sec hero's that want to play behaviourist lol. I will say the problem is severe in my breed the Rottweiler. All I can add is with Glenn Cooke's departure beyond John MacDonald, Kris, Sidney Aarons, Laurie Boutzitisis and Brad Griggs, the only trainer in Vic I would trust if I had significant issue here in Vic is myself.
