Thread: Vic GSD breeders

Hi Chris

I too was looking for a hard but stable pup for Schutzhund training as I flunked out with my older GSD who is over sharp and reactive. We got our pup from Mindfreak Kennels, a Vonforell Erger/Yultzen Rebecca breeding, he is very aloof, confident and stable with great prey drive and focus, he would be great at obedience in an atmoshere of dogs and people no problems. Not only did I get the type of dog I wanted, there were no lies and messing us around buying from Mindfreak, a straight honest deal with excellent support and highly recommend them.

would you consider other states?

also being able to go see the breeder a few times etc etc, so most likely not.....

pretty set on getting a rottie, but would like to see what gsd's are out there as well...

I guess for convenience you may have to compromise.
A couple of hundred dollars and a few days spent now is worth it for a 10 year plus investment. Best to get something that's perfect first than have to start over again a few years down the track after wasting time and money.

Have no problems with them, but i also haven't been out there recently so can't say if they do or don't.

Just trying to see what people to have to say and want to hear their experiences etc

Hi Chris have you looked at Von Zane kennels Melbourne Von Zane Kennels - Home. They have some interesting GSD lines based on their site. Unfortunately I can't offer anything more info than that on them.

Keep us posted how you go. I'm also looking as well. Unfortunately Vic and WA seem sparse. QLD does seem to have a few working GSD kennels from what I've dug up thus far.

PS Mindfreak are Mindfreak Kennels here for reference. Also some juicy lines there and with a great rap from Ann-Marie they are near the top of my list atm.

Yes they both look pretty interesting, one of my friends is going have a look at Von Zane soon...

I liked the sounds of what she has got would love a dog that's similar, still pretty set on a rottie but if i could find a great gsd i wouldn't say no!!
So i just have to take my time and hope for the best
