    Substance Detection

Does anyone have any suggestions for good material (both books and dvd's) on substance detection?

    I've found:
    http://www.caninetrainingsystems.com/cg ... RE-SUB-SET

But at $200 I wanted to know how others found it first. There is also another on the same site but it requires a police letterhead and since I'm not a cop that'll be a bit of a problem.

If you go to Dog Wise there are one or two books on that subject:

    BASIC NARCOTIC DETECTION DOG TRAINING
    by Jack Robicheaux

    K9 SCENT DETECTION
(this is more or less an all encompassing nosework book which includes drug detection, so it may not have what quite you want)
    by Jan Kaldenbach

They also have the DVD you mention for $159.90 USD, so when you include freight from the US it’s still not cheap

If it only has one chapter on detection work then I'd be happy, the other info would be helpful for something.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Try having a look at Leerburg productions they have a HUGE range of DVDs.
you might have to download the 2008 cataloge so see them though.

Yeah, I've got 8 of his already but I don't like his teaching method that much - they're good though.

Just can't afford to do another huge leerburg order yet :P
