teaching leg bites (back of leg) in the suit

over the week end i was working with my trainer doing front of leg bites it didnt take me long to pick it up

the next session il do will be biting the back of the leg

so what id thought il do is find out the other methods that people use in the suit to teach the dog to bite the back of the leg

also if people have footage of the different ways would be great
    Regards

    Hi Nath
    A couple of questions...
Is the dog biting full and confidently on the upper body??
Why do front leg bites first?
Back leg bites are easy and more rewarding. Got footage will put on disc for u and organise to meet up...

    cheers

    hey george

he works well on the upper thats why we have moved to the legs
iam not sure why we are starting with front bites first its just what my trainer wanted me to do as well as it the process that he has taken us in the past
but the dog did well on the front
full deep bites and no shifting i think he though my leg was a giant chicken bone
    Regards

    Hi Nath,

Good to hear you are doing the leg bites in a suite now. I have vivid memories of you using the leg pad and Romper Stomper missed it and got your shin bone...........I can still hear the crack it made and god I thought it broke your leg! You still have a couple of nice scares from it if I remember rightly!!!!! Using the suite sounds like a very good option to me!!!!!!! LOL

    Cheers

    Steve
