Just a thread looking for all footage relating to Fred Hassen's visit to Australia most recently.
I would appreciate personal footage provided the Victorian dogs he worked, and also dogs in any other state.
Interested to learn from such a professional, especially given his deep understaning of canine behaviour and his unabiding commitment to high levels of excellence regardless of breed or breeding.

from what i have read on another forum fred was on he wont let any one video him doing the bite work any more using a suit or sleeve so unless some one has him doing OB or agiliity or directing the decoy doing bitework you probly wont find one
he didnt explain why

Fred Hassen would have to be one of the most video'd dog trainers in the world so I find it very hard believe when you suggest he has a policy like that. I know that he has never had a problem with me shooting video of him working dogs. He is the most public dog trainer that I know of and he uses the real world has his training ground so he is always in the public eye. You will find plenty of video on YouTube with Fred wearing a sleeve, Personally I've never seen him wear a suit.
Brad I would suggest you subscribe to his YouTube channel, he puts up a new video every day of all types of training. They are not meant to be instructional but are a great starting point. Even if it is just to get ideas for thinking outside the box.

but what i ment to say was he dosnt like being taped doing the bite work him self (it didnt say why)he will alway have a decoy do the work for him on the tapes if i recall its a some thing hes only been doing the last few years and if u do look at his youtube page he is always the MC or the host in recent years
i never said he is never in them like u said he is in hundreds of clips

Nath you don't have to look too far to find many recent vids of Fred with a sleeve on. freds focus is not on being a decoy and developing dogs for Police or protection, it is on control. Most of the stuff you will see is him taking bites to illustrate control around distraction.
ive just gone back and re read the post on the forum
it states he will no longer show him using equipment on this forum any longer
so i guess i took it a bit futher that was stated
